Here are some quick facts about the Jalen Rose Academy…
- JRLA is an open enrollment (tuition free), public charter high school on the northwest side of Detroit, located in the same zip code where Jalen Rose grew up and only steps away from American Jewelry and Loan.
- JRLA provides a leadership-focused education that engages and inspires youth to achieve at the rigorous level necessary to ultimately graduate with a college degree.
- JRLA is a 9-16 model where scholars are supported not only through high school graduation, but through college graduation via their College Success Team which includes an Alumni Coordinator.
- JRLA has graduated more than 95% of their scholars and 100% of those graduates were accepted to college, trade/technical school, or the military.
