A Mother’s Day Recipe from my Mom

Seth and Lili GoldMy Mom loves to cook and entertain. She always works hard to make sure that every detail is perfect and that all of us have a great time when we’re together. Here’s one of her favorite recipes:

Lili’s Lemon Bars

1/2 c melted butter

1 2-layer yellow cake mix

1 egg

1 c chopped pecans

Combine ingredients above until crumbly. Press into bottom of a 9×13 pan

2 eggs

8 oz Cream Cheese

1 16 oz pkg powdered sugar

1/2 tsp lemon extract

Cream together. Pour over cake mix layer

Bake 40 minutes in a 350-degree pre-heated oven. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
