The Gold family — Les, Seth and Ashley — are being sent to Italy in a few weeks by DMAX, their European network, where their “Hardcore Pawn,” known there as “Banco Dei Pugni,” is all the rage. “I could’ve never guessed, growing up in my grandfather’s pawnshop on Michigan Avenue, that someday my own store would be the subject of a television show,” Les Gold said. “It’s even more remarkable to think that our show is the No. 3 television show in Italy! I cannot wait to meet our fans over there.”
