In 2006, the Super Bowl came to Detroit. Our home team Lions didn’t make it to the big game, but my dad and I decided to go and check it out. Since that time, we’ve made it a yearly tradition. We travel a lot together for work, but the Super Bowl is one of the only times each year when just the two of us get away and we really appreciate the opportunity to do so.
This year, we had another great year as guests of Lenovo who are not only an amazing technology company, but gracious hosts as well.
When you have a job working alongside family, it’s easy to take one another for granted. Getting away for an exciting event like this, though, helps us to put our work aside and just enjoy one another’s company. It’s a tradition that I’ve really come to treasure. It’s something that we’re fortunate to be able to do together.
